Services offered:
1) Local services are provided Monday thru Friday for trips to local agencies, medical appointments, community colleges, group, individual shopping trips, and Older Americans nutrition sites.
2) Out of area trips to Rocky Mount are provided three days each week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for medical appointments.
3) In area field trips are available on weekends and during non-peak hours on week days.

Roads: Interstate 95 is 50 miles west of the County. US Highways 13 and 17 run through the center of Bertie County. These roads provide a direct connection with US 64, which leads to the Outer Banks going east and Raleigh going west. US Highway 11 connects the County to Southern Virginia to the North and Greenville to the South.

Bus: Carolina Trailways serves the County via a terminal located in

Windsor.

Air: Tri-County Airport serving Bertie, Hertford and Northampton counties, Highway 561, Aulander. Airports are also located in Greenville (40 miles), Raleigh (110 miles) and Norfolk (85 miles).

Freight and Parcel: Most national trucking and parcel services service the County including Fed Ex, UPS and Airborne Express.
